A: I provide in-home pet care in ChampionsGate and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Q: Who will be caring for my pets?
A: I personally handle every visit. Occasionally my young helper joins me for small tasks, adding extra attention for pets.
Q: How do I book a visit?
A: You can book via text, phone call, or by clicking here. I recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible, especially for holiday visits. A meet-and-greet is required before the first visit, this is where we can review care instructions and exchange keys/access codes if needed.
Q: Can my dog go to a dog park during walks?
A: For safety reasons, I do not take dogs to dog parks or off-leash areas with unfamiliar dogs. All walks are on-leash and in controlled environments to ensure the safety and well-being of every pet.
Q: What happens if the weather is too hot, cold, or stormy?
A: Safety is my top priority. Walks may be adjusted, shortened, or rescheduled in extreme weather, including heavy rain, storms, or high temperatures. Pavement temperature is checked with an infrared thermometer before walks to help protect your dog’s paws.
Q: Can you clean multiple enclosures in one visit?
A: Yes! I can service multiple habitats during the same visit. Time and pricing are adjusted based on the size and complexity of each enclosure.
Q: Do you clean fish tanks or handle aquatic maintenance?
A: Fish care is limited to feeding and basic observation. I do not perform tank cleaning, water changes, or maintenance.
Q: What if my pet has special habitat requirements?
A: I follow any specific care instructions you provide, including temperature, lighting, and handling requirements, to ensure your pet’s environment stays safe and comfortable.
Q: What supplies do I need to provide?
A: Owners supply substrate, litter, or bedding, and specialty items. Optional supply provision is available at suppy cost + $15 handling fee.
Q: How often should cleaning be done?
A: Cleaning frequency depends on your pet and habitat. Many owners schedule deep cleans as needed to keep their pets comfortable and healthy.
Q: How often can you provide yard clean-up?
A: I offer one-time visits or recurring weekly service, depending on your needs.
Q: Do I need to provide any supplies?
A: No, I bring all necessary supplies to safely and efficiently clean the yard.
Q: Can I schedule this along with other services?
A: Absolutely! Pet waste clean-up can be added to any visit.
Q: Do you charge extra for holidays?
A: Yes. holiday surcharges are $5 per visit in addition to standard fees.

A: Major Holidays Including: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
Q: Are holiday visits guaranteed?
A: My holiday schedule is limited and it fills quickly, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
Q: What types of pets do you care for?
A: I provide care for dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and freshwater fish, including exotic or specialized pets. Other pets may be considered with prior authorization, please contact me to discuss your specific animal.
Q: My pet has behavioral issues. Can you still help?
A: I am experienced in behavior observation and positive reinforcement handling. Please provide detailed notes, and I will create a safe plan for your pet.
Q: Are there pets you won’t accept?
A: Pets that are aggressive, unsafe to handle, or pose a danger to others cannot be accepted for visits or walks.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I accept credit/debit cards via my client portal which is powered by Stripe (no additional fees). I also accept Zelle, or cash payments.
Q: When is payment due?
A: Payment is due in advance for all drop-in services. If the pet owner is on-site for services, payment can be collected at the time of the visit.
Q: Are there extra charges?
A: No additional service fees apply beyond holiday surcharges or optional add-ons.
Q: Will I get updates about my pets?
A: Yes! Updates include photos and brief notes after every visit. For dog walks, a GPS map of our walked route is also provided.
Q: Can I contact you while I’m away?
A: Absolutely! You’re welcome to reach out via a client portal message, text, or phone. I will do my best to respond promptly and keep you informed about your pets’ care.
Q: Can I provide a care plan or special instructions?
A: Absolutely! I follow custom care instructions for each pet, including feeding, medications, or special routines.
Q: What if my pet gets sick or injured during a visit?
A: I will contact you immediately and follow any instructions you provide. I am trained to handle basic first aid and emergencies, and will involve your vet if necessary.
Q: Do pets need to be vaccinated?
A: Vaccinations are strongly recommended, especially for dogs and cats. I am happy to discuss any exceptions or special circumstances.
Q: Is a meet-and-greet required before service?
A: Yes! The first visit requires a meet-and-greet to review care instructions and exchange keys or access codes if needed.
Q: Can I schedule last-minute visits while on vacation?
A: I do my best to accommodate short-notice requests, but availability may be limited. Booking in advance is always recommended.
Q: What if you can’t access my home?
A: Clients are responsible for reliable property access. Missed access may result in forfeited visit charges.
Q: Are my pets insured during visits?
A: I maintain professional liability and pet care coverage. Your pets are safe and cared for in their own environment.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holidays, vacation periods, or multiple pets.
Q: Can I schedule recurring visits?
A: Yes, however, since I am one person with no employees, these slots are extremely limited and require flexibility.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: Please give at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less notice may incur fees.
